Design Build Consumer Experiences in Arenas: Collaborating with Architects, Designers, Sponsors, and building trade partners

Another passion project for me was the Climate Pledge Arena, an 800,000 sq. ft., event space, seating 17,000 fans, in Seattle’s downtown district. My team worked with the City of Seattle, Mortenson Construction and trade partners to renovate and revitalize the historical building.

I was the Sr. Project Manager for the project and the main client services point of contact for our clients at Mortenson Construction. This 1.5 years long project, was a $3million scope for our team. We managed the fabrication design, fabrication and installation of premium metal wall cladding for for the premium bar spaces. This scope of work was new for me and required endless sampling of metal finishes and fabrication methods to achieve the clients desired finish. It challenged me to think outside of my comfort zone with fabrication and in construction means and methods. The finished product is something I am very proud of.
